While you may not be trekking through Sherwood Forest, take a horse-ride through the beautiful unspoilt Slieve Bloom mountains where Blanket bog, dark green forests with trails, picnic sites, crystal-clear mountain streams stepped with waterfalls, and long deep valleys edged with peaceful villages make this a charming and peaceful destination.

Kinnitty Castle Equestrian Centre boasts the best trail riding facilities available to any rider. On it's doorstep, The Slieve Bloom Mountains provide the ideal setting and terrain for a wide and varied selection of natural trails.

With days of trails available, we can offer everything from a walk to an exciting canter along these unspoilt trails with fantastic views. We cater from everyone from beginner to advanced riders.

Tuition is also available onsite in both flatwork and jumping lessons.

We offer everything from 1 hour to a 3 hour ride through the Slieve Bloom Mountains.

Our horses are; Irish Cobs, Irish Draught, Irish Sport Horses and Connemara ponies.
